Why LitPix Media for San Francisco Video Production
Every Litpix project is built and shipped by the same core crew, start to finish. We bring more than twenty years of combined production experience across our four-person team, led by lead cinematographers Gio and Tim, alongside script and post-production specialists Edd and Eegii, handling pre-production, directing, shooting, sound, editing, and color grading entirely in-house.
Because every creative decision is made by the same people operating the cameras, the visual voice remains consistent from the first treatment through the final grade. It means one point of accountability from pitch to master, delivering the kind of reliability trusted by Fortune 100 companies, BCG, Special Olympics, WeWork, and Salesforce.
The full production kit is Litpix-owned, fully insured, and built for enterprise-level compliance. We shoot exclusively on Sony FX6 and FX3 cinema bodies with matched primes, running Sennheiser and DJI audio into multichannel field recorders, all lit by Aputure key lights and softboxes.
We shoot Cinema LOG capture with custom LUTs tuned specifically to your brand palette. We run dual-recorded audio and redundant data backups on every single shoot. Venue logistics and local SF permit requirements are handled before the gear ever leaves the case, meaning no rental markups, no rental-day scheduling windows, and zero friction for your team.
Post-production is never outsourced. Editorial and color grading are finished in DaVinci Resolve, reviewed collaboratively in Frame.io with timestamped client comments, and first cuts are delivered within seven to ten business days of the shoot. Final masters are cut to every aspect ratio you need for LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and your home page hero. We archive project files for five years, so future recuts, vertical reedits, brand-refresh versions, and platform-specific reformats can be spun up fast without ever needing a reshoot.

Our Video Production Process
Discovery Call
The first conversation is a production brief in disguise. Gio and Tim get on the line with your team, and your marketing or creative director if they want a seat at the table, to map out what the video needs to accomplish, where it lives after delivery, and what success actually looks like. Whether the project is for a Fortune 100 brand, new start-up or a local business, the process is identical from this call forward. Not an intake form. A working session with the two people who will be on set.
For complex San Francisco venues (Moscone West, the Fairmont, Chase Center, Terra Gallery, etc.) we assess acoustic profiles, power access, and house AV setup on that same call
If the venue runs Encore or another house AV provider, we coordinate directly with their team before shoot day
Written creative brief delivered within 48 hours
Pre-Production and Scripting
Most of the real work happens before anyone steps on set. Edd and Eegii break your talking points down to the sentence level, engineering natural hook points and pull-quote moments into the script so social clips write themselves rather than get hunted in the edit bay. For larger productions, multi-camera events, exterior shoots, or any shoot requiring a location hold, we run a full tech scout of the space beforehand and assess sightlines, ambient noise, and natural light conditions before the gear leaves the case.
If your project calls for on-screen talent beyond your internal team, we handle casting and coordination. Same for hair and makeup: we bring in vetted artists whose work holds up under cinema lenses and broadcast color grades, not just phone cameras.
Certificates of Insurance generated to your venue's exact specifications
San Francisco Film Commission permits handled for any exterior shoot or location requiring a street or sidewalk hold
Shot lists, lighting schematics, and call sheets built by the same four people showing up on set
Shoot Day
Every on-camera subject gets a prep call with our team before shoot day. We walk through pacing, key message delivery, and posture so nobody arrives cold. On set, Gio and Tim actively direct the performance and run a teleprompter calibrated to each speaker's natural pace, so executives come across as people in a conversation rather than actors fighting an autocue.
Sony FX6 and FX3 cinema bodies, assigned and configured to the demands of each specific shoot, with matched prime lenses throughout
S-Log3 capture on every body, dual memory card slots recording simultaneously
Backup lavalier microphones on every speaker and a second field recorder capturing ISO audio feeds
FAA Part 107 licensed drone pilot on the crew for aerial coverage when the project calls for it
If hardware fails, the footage does not
Edit, Color, and Delivery
Before the crew packs the truck, all footage is dual-backed to an independent physical drive and cloud storage, so nothing rides on a single point of failure. Edd and Eegii handle the full post pipeline in-house. The people cutting your video were in the room when you said the line that made the final cut. Two rounds of revisions included as standard. Music sourced and licensed through our library or cleared from your existing assets, so there are no licensing gaps on delivery.
